Use this procedure after you install or update Handshake.

Prerequisites

  • You installed Handshake.
  • You ran handshake setup.

Verify Handshake

Check the installed version

Run:
The command prints the installed Handshake version.

Check the service

Run:
The response is:
If you configured a different port, use that port in the command.

List sessions from an agent

Open a connected agent. Enter:
The agent calls the list_sessions MCP tool. The result contains session titles, agent names, update times, directories, project names, and session IDs.
The installation is correct when the service returns ok and the agent can call list_sessions.
