Handshake uses a login service to start the daemon when you sign in.

Install the service

Run:
The service starts handshake serve.

​
Remove the service

Run:
This command removes the login service. It does not remove agent registrations or session data.

Start the daemon without a service

Run:
The command stays active in the current terminal.

Service files

The service file contains the resolved HANDSHAKE_ADDR and HANDSHAKE_URL values. Run handshake setup after you change the address or port. Setup updates the service and agent registrations.
